Sonya joins us as a Sales Associate, bringing with her a wealth of experience, a heart full of passion, and a deep love for the vibrant community she calls home.
Hailing from the picturesque Union area of Salt Sulphur Springs and with roots in Greenville, Sonya is a true local who understands the heart and soul of this region. She shares her life's journey with her loving husband JD Fullen, who serves in the Naval Reserves, and together they nurture the next generation – two teenagers who are actively engaged in 4-H, Rodeo, and Civil Air Patrol.
Sonya is a devoted member of her church and a Registered Veterinary Technician (nurse) with a profound affinity for caring for animals both big and small. Her passion for equine rehabilitation and the holistic well-being of animals and humans alike shines through her work. Having worn multiple hats as an office manager at the WVU Monroe County Extension, Sonya's dedication and diverse skill set are truly commendable.
Sonya's love for the great outdoors is evident in her life beyond the office. She's a proud country girl, managing a small cow/calf herd, nurturing a flock of sheep, and indulging her equestrian interests while riding horses. Her creative spirit extends to painting, and she's always ready for adventure and travel.
What drives Sonya to embark on a journey in real estate? As a Monroe County native who has experienced life's twists and turns with the military, she knows the profound value of a place to call home. With her background in the veterinary field, she has witnessed the beauty of Southern West Virginia's farms and landscapes, making her the perfect guide for those seeking land or farms. Sonya is equally excited about helping others realize their dreams, whether it's in residential or commercial real estate.
